About Samantha Keiser
Therapy for People Ready for More Than Just Getting By.
I help young adults and professionals work through anxiety, perfectionism, stress, life transitions, and identity development. I strive to create a collaborative, inclusive space where you can better understand yourself, build self-trust, and move toward the life you want.
Who I Work With Best
High Achievers Struggling with Anxiety & Perfectionism
From the outside, it may look like you have it all together. Inside, you may be overthinking, doubting yourself, or feeling like you should always be doing more. No matter how much you achieve, it never feels like enough. Together, we'll work on managing anxiety, quieting self-criticism, and finding a healthier balance.
Young Adults & Professionals Navigating Life Transitions
Big life changes can bring stress, uncertainty, and self-doubt. You may be starting a new job, ending a relationship, changing careers, or figuring out what's next, therapy can help you navigate change with greater confidence.
LGBTQ+ Individuals Seeking an Affirming Space
You deserve a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. From exploring your identity, navigating relationships, managing anxiety, or dealing with family challenges, I provide a welcoming space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

Helping You Find Your Footing Through Life's Challenges
I'm Samantha Keiser, founder of Stone & Sapling Psychotherapy. I believe everyone deserves a therapist who truly listens. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build confidence, and move forward with greater clarity.
My training focused on how our relationships, experiences, and surroundings shape our lives. This helps me see the whole person, not just the challenges that bring them to therapy.

Because of this, my approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in everyday life. You know yourself best. My role is to provide support, guidance, and practical tools as you work through anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and life changes. Together, we'll build confidence, strengthen self-trust, and create a life that feels more balanced.
The Person Behind the Screen.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. No one else has lived your experiences, faced your challenges, or walked your unique path. My role is not to tell you who you are, but to help you better understand yourself and create the changes you want to see.
I also believe people can grow and change. Anxiety, perfectionism, and other challenges often develop from patterns we've learned over time. Together, we'll identify what is no longer working and build healthier ways of thinking, coping, and responding.
This work is personal to me. As someone who has experienced anxiety and perfectionism, I understand how exhausting those patterns can be. Therapy helped me develop greater self-trust, flexibility, and peace, and I hope to help you find the same.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my rescue dogs. I am committed to creating a welcoming, LGBTQ+ affirming space where all people feel respected, supported, and valued.

You Don't Have to Be Falling Apart to Deserve Support
Many people hesitate before reaching out for therapy. They wonder if their struggles are serious enough, if they should be able to manage on their own, or whether therapy is really worth it. The truth is, you don't need to be in crisis to benefit from support. You don't need all the answers, a clear plan, or even certainty about where to begin. If you're tired of carrying stress, pressure, and emotional exhaustion on your own, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and care for yourself.
Real Conversations. Practical Support. Meaningful Growth.
Sessions are warm, supportive, and focused on your real-life needs. You'll have a space to talk openly about what's weighing on you without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I bring guidance, support, and practical tools, while you bring your experiences, values, and goals. Together, we'll create a plan that feels meaningful and fits your life.
Practical Support That Fits Real Life
Therapy should be useful beyond our sessions. Together, we'll develop practical tools to help you manage life's challenges.
Collaborative and Goal-Focused
You know your life best. Together, we'll explore what's getting in the way and find a path forward that feels right for you.
Respect for Your Time and Energy
Life is busy. Therapy should feel like time well spent, not another task to do. My goal is to make each session meaningful.
A Judgment-Free Environment
There's no such thing as being too much, not enough, or having the wrong problem. Whatever you're carrying, you're welcome here.
A Space Where You Don't Have to Hold It All Together
Many of my clients feel exhausted by stress, anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep up. Therapy gives them a space to be honest, feel supported, and build practical tools for change.
Creating that kind of space is at the heart of my work. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to help you better understand yourself, manage stress and anxiety, and build confidence in your ability to handle life's challenges.

I believe you know yourself best. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that may be affecting how you think, feel, and respond to life's challenges. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change.

Also Don't Forget About The Self-Care Coordinator.
If you hear a soft snore or see a tail wag in the background, that's Ender, the official Self-Care Coordinator at Stone & Sapling. While he doesn't have an LCSW, he takes his job very seriously.

His responsibilities include professional napping, requesting walks, and reminding everyone nearby to slow down and enjoy the moment. Ender is proof that sometimes the best mental health advice is also the simplest: get outside, move your body, and don't forget to rest.
You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone
If something on this page spoke to you, I'd love to connect. Starting therapy is a rewarding step, and you don't have to take it alone. Reach out when you're ready. There's no pressure, and questions are always welcome.
